i suddenly think of MRS LIM, my principal back in secondary school.
Every yusoffian should remember how much she can REALLY talk. hahaa. i remember for the whole of my secondary school life, we were so afraid that she might go on stage after any performance on assembly. why?! she will lecture(basically just talk talk talk) us and we will all have to go home later. haha. ok i know thats really mean of me to laugh at her. i was just recollecting all the funniest things happen in yusof. yup!
some how, i can still remember some of the things she say to us back then. there are 2 things of all the many things she said, i can really remember.
1st" Life is unfair, bare with it"
now in poly, life is totally different. many says that the freedom there is definatly more than secondary schools, which means lesser stress. WELL I CAN TELL YOU CONFIDENTLY, those words are not true. its true that even if you skip lectures no one really care. which means you want to pass, work your way out alone. NO ONE CARES. study study study study study study. ok well, maybe i'm not those really talented FREAKOs that they can still do well without going for classes(still passing their attendance). so whenever i'm working so hard and i feel like "why do i have to do this (curse and swear) stuff", i'll actually tell myself," life is unfair, bare with it". I TRULY UNDERSTAND THIS LINE NOW. i used to think its really stupid for her to say that to us. ok.. NOT TOO late to realise right?! haha.
2nd " dun aim for just a pass, aim for a distinction. because when you aim low, you will tend to relax yourselve more than working hard. the result for relaxing will be FAIL. Aim for the distinction, you'll either pass or you really get your dictinction, because you really work."
once again, this is what driving me on to do my work and it actually helps me in attaining a rather good result in poly. Yes, it does stress it out sometimes when you keep going HIGH HIGH HIGH and not coming down. this is when you must learn to manage your time properly. take out maybe like 1 or 2 hours to just stone and do nothing. the stress will go away. or do the Mr Adam way, " go for a jog, you'll feel better". jogging makes you feels fresh. For me, after jogging, i'm too tired to do any other entertaining stuff but to read my notes. OK CRAZY RIGHT. but when i'm bored and tiring of the busy streets, my notes are my story book.
yeap! i hope this 2 things from mrs Lim is useful to any one of you reading. hehe. because it really helps me in my STUDY's life. heehee. somehow i think her, having alot of things to say is because she know alot of stuff and thats why she can be a principal of a school.
ok i know. STUDY boreds ALL OF YOU OUT. enough of that yah!
show you guys my 'hand-made' christmas tree!

the tree looks nicer now la.my mother change the lightings.hehe.
my mother's idea. she's so filled with weird ideas.
ok its late now..hehehe.
